Nectarines belong to the same family as peaches and are distinguished by their hairless and shiny skin. They are often consumed fresh in the summer with their sweet and aromatic texture. In addition to table consumption, they are also used in making fruit juice, jam, compote and desserts. They are widely grown in Türkiye, especially in Bursa.
